Is it better to stay single than to get married?
Does this make sense to anyone? What are the pluses and minuses of staying single? What if God called you to a single life? Check out 1 Corinthians 7:6-7

What if God didn't call you to a single life?
Thats good too Justin... lol. Does anyone know the answer to this question though?? Or did God call everyone to a married life? Let's talk about societal influences. Are there no celibates among us?
It isn't bettwe to stay single or be married. They are both good. Paul was saying if you dont need to be then dont be. Neither is better. You can't say unmarried is better when God made man for woman and said it is not good for man to be alone. However, if you can do it. If you can contain yourself and give all of your everything to your God then that's awesome. So my answer is no....it's not better to stay single.

OK well this is interesting here, kinda. In terms of wether or not poeple should get married or stay single, it comes down to a moral choice. Marriage is alife time commitment not to be taken lightly. You cant marry someone for th ewrong reasons and if you dont beleive in being a one woman man or a one man woman then marriage is definately not for you. You have to be intelligent in the choices you make in life. We dont need a purpouse to live we dont need a reason to marry it just happens the way its ment to happen. YOu cant live life worried about whats gonna happen tomorrow because youll miss out on today, and today is a beautiful day. God wants us to live a good and healthy life free from as much pain or hurt as possible, through him in a sense. But getting back on track staying single is also bad if you are a sexual being because sex was in essence made for marriage and even though th world is lacking in that area we as lovers of god can take into account that we need to try at least to keep ourselves as clean as possible
