So check this out. There has been a recent lobbying in England to institute an anti-spanking law. Obviously, there has been some controversy. Is spanking a type of corporal punishment? Does it help? What would you enforce in your house?

Interesting topic, i like it. Well i think spanking is a good thing. Obviously when i was a kid i hated it but if you don't screw up you don't get spanked. Spanking has been going on for years and no one has gotten messed up because their parents spanked them. Spanking was common back in the olden days and children were much more behaved back then. If you look at children today many parents just can't even control their children and get walked all over. Obviously punishment is gona suck, you did something wrong, and i don't know anyone that likes being spanked, so yes i will spank my children just like i was spanked when i was younger and just like im sure they were spanked when they were younger. You are not gona harm you child from smakin them on the bottom every once in i while however i guarentee they will grow up a better person.
I agree with Justin fully on this one. I cant stand the way parents let their little kids be the boss of the house. I think a spanking shows the kid that the parents are in charge. It puts a little fear in the kids which is good. Not a lot of fear but enough to know that they cant do whatever they want and get away with it. Me and all of my siblings were spanked when we were young and we used to always get complements on how well we behaved in public. I think the discipline that our parents gave us by spanking really helped us to behave. As to whether or not I will spank my kids, I will definately spank them if it is needed.
yeah serioously it is so annoying and irritating when kids rule the house and can do whatever they want. i got spanked yeah it hurt and i hated it ,but i was afraid of being spanked ,so i was like i better not do this or im going to be spanked. yeah it made me a better person and yes i will spank my kids when necessary.

BIG IN HIM says that spanking is apositive thing. The bible admonishes that we should not spear the "ROD" get it, and spoil the child.
Yo yo yo check this out. Beat them DOWN!!! It work with me. But there must be a verbal explaination and make sure the kids know what they did... because if you dont explain what they did was wrong you can beat them all you want but it wont be anygood. You will get a hate and a anger started in your kids and not what we aim for which is discipline and responsiblitiy.
