Does God want his people to be rich?

Do you think God wants his people to be rich? Does God want you to be poor? What is your answer?

God does have a different plan for everyone... we are aware of that in Jeremiah... so are you saying then that for some, God has a plan for them to be poor Justin?

i think that could be part of it maire-ange. i think that just cause your poor doesn't mean that they arn't blessed or that they arn't rich in other things.. you can have a lot of money and still be poor..........

it was part of God's plan (or allowance which was part of A plan) for Job to be poor when he lost everything

I agree Mel. Having wealth does not mean you're rich in relationships... it just means you are rich. God's "rich" is being whole..??? agree/disagree?

Justin, so tell me. God allowed Job to experience being 'poor'... but notice afterwards he received what he had and in abundance. Can God not make up his mind??? Yes he allows us certain experiences.. but what did he want from the beginning?
